VIKKEN GROUP LLC Product Warranty and Return Policy
Product Quality Assurance: All products supplied by VIKKEN GROUP LLC undergo rigorous factory testing and inspection prior to shipment. They are warranted free from defects and/or poor materials & workmanship for 12 months from the date of original purchase. The warranty applies when the customer provides proof of purchase (original receipt), date of purchase, and meets VIKKEN GROUP LLC general terms of sale. In the event of disputes, these shall be settled via a mutually accepted 3rd party arbitration service.
Product Returns - 30-day Grace Period: Returns are accepted within a 30-day grace period with proof of purchase for unopened, unused items, fully boxed inside the original factory packaging. The original factory packaging must be untampered, with box or packaging seals unbroken, and the product otherwise in an undamaged and unused condition. Upon receipt, our service department will confirm by email if the item does not qualify for a return refund. All qualifying items will be refunded at the purchase price paid, with credit refunded back to the original payment method.
Defective Product Returns: Refunds and exchanges are accepted for defective items or those that become defective during the warranty period. The 12-month warranty period commences from the date of the original purchase, expiring 367 days after order placement. To initiate a return for a defective item, contact us immediately via email at customercare@vikken.com, stating the order number, date of purchase, and all details of the defect. Include any photographs or videos to support claims and return the product to our service facility. Qualifying items will be replaced or refunded as soon as practical within a reasonable period after examination. Items not qualifying for refund or replacement will be made available for collection for up to 7 days after notice is given, with uncollected items discarded after 7 days. Only regular priced items may be refunded; items supplied at special promotional prices, marked "Sale," are not eligible for refund.
Returned Items: To return a purchased item, you must email us in advance at customercare@vikken.com, explaining the reason for return. An RN number (Return Number) will be provided by us, which must be referenced on the package or packing slip. Refunded amounts shall exclude any shipping & handling charges shown on our original packaging slip or invoice, and the extent of the refund may be adjusted at our discretion to reflect general wear & tear. Shipping charges for returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer for loss and damage since we are not able to track or guarantee goods in transit reaching our destination address.
Other General Terms & Conditions: Our products are supplied fit for intended use at the owner's risk. The manufacturer's limited warranty applies with exceptions as listed above, and with various legal exclusions and other general limitations and conditions of sale as outlined below:
If discolored, soiled, or used parts when exposed to chemical cleaning or excessive water, including ultraviolet light discoloration and other forms of discoloration.
If used for non-residential or industrial purposes.
Where the product is exposed to extreme conditions, beyond the product's intended use.
If damage or malfunction of the unit results from improper installation, negligence, abuse & misuse, damage caused by pets or vermin, and otherwise unauthorized tampering by 3rd party repair personnel.
The manufacturer or distributor is not liable for losses and damages (direct, consequential, or incidental) arising out of the use of, or inability to use, this product.
The manufacturer or distributor is not liable for losses and damages by improper installation and use resulting in water damage/flooding in the immediate installation area and/or surrounding vicinity.
The manufacturer or distributor is not liable for losses and damages on claims resulting from misreading/misinterpreting supplier installation instructions.
Claims initiated outside of the warranty period.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
